DAYS ITINERARY

Day 1 From our rendezvous in Vail, we head to the high country. Here, we take on an ideal introductory singletrack ride that hugs the reflective shores of Turquoise Lake. Tonight, we stay at the Leadville Country Inn, an exquisite 1893 Queen Anne Victorian Bed & Breakfast with a garden gazebo and hot tub.

Day 2 - 3 For the next two days, we'll cycle the most dramatic sections of the acclaimed 470 mile Colorado Trail. The scenery is stunning as we travel along the spine of the Continental Divide. More 14,000 foot peaks pack this area than anywhere in North America. Our second evening finds us enjoying the serene wilderness setting of Mt. Elbert Lodge, one of our favorite backcountry retreats. Then it's off to Crested Butte and the Christiana's Bed & Breakfast, our home for the next three nights. En route, we'll stop for a relaxing midday soak in a creekside natural hot spring.

Day 4 - 5 We explore the numerous bike trails that surround the small mountain community of Crested Butte, regarded by many as America's 'mountain bike capital. Nowhere in the Rockies will you find such a concentration of world-class rides without the crowds. Fields of brilliant wildflowers, lush alpine meadows and jagged peaks characterize each buffed singletrack we ride!

Day 6 Our final spin may be Colorado's finest single day biking adventure: weaving through knee-high wildflowers to a high alpine pass, then letting loose on a thrilling 3,000 foot descent through the narrows of a waterfall-filled river valley. Charged with excitement, you know you may never experience another adventure like the Crested Butte Singletracker. After a riverside lunch, we conclude our trip back in Denver.
