I've always been enamored with Greece. I loved reading Greek mythology. But what hooked me on Greece was the movie, "Summer Lovers." I watched that when I was an impressionable teen. I just love the colors of Santorini, so much so I wanted to paint our house that gorgeous blue and white but of course, common sense (aka Jeff) prevailed and we chose a different color.

So for my 40th birthday, there wasn't any doubt what I wanted to do - go on a Greek Isles cruise. The only question was which cruise line? I choose Celebrity Cruises because of the itinerary. It's all Greece with 1 day at Ephesus (Turkey). Other cruise line itineraries included other ports of call, which are wonderful and amazing but for me I wanted to go to each of the islands I've been dreaming about for so long.
