Dates: May, September & October

Difficulty: Moderate

Day 1 We meet in Grand Junction, Colorado and continue on to Moab for our day's mountain biking journey. We start in Bull Canyon, pass intriguing red rock formations, and finish at the trail's namesake, Gemini Bridges, a naturally formed double sandstone bridge.

Day 2 Today we follow a footpath deep into the outback of Canyonlands National Park. Soaring monuments and slot canyons guide us to Chesler Park -- a spectacular amphitheater of colorful sandstone pinnacles.

Day 3 We return to Moab and sample some canyoneering while exploring Medieval Chamber, one of the area's finest and wildest canyons. Located in a remote area of Arches National Park, we'll repel into this seldom-visited slot canyon and learn about geology, ecology and the ancient Anasazi Indians.

Day 4 We swap to rafts for a day of classic whitewater fun on the Colorado River! Our rollercoaster ride features narrow 1,500-foot sandstone walls, the sheer black granite chasm of Westwater Canyon and the infamous rapids - Funnel Falls, Skull, Sock-it-to-Me and Last Chance.

Day 5 Our sampling proceeds into Arches National Park for a hike to Delicate Arch and a trek into the narrow passages and whimsical formations of the mystical Fiery Furnace.

Day 6 On our final day we enjoy awe-inspiring vistas, fun descents and chance sightings of bighorn sheep as we cycle the famed White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park. Our multi-sport adventure ends with a shuttle back to Grand Junction.
