Kadavu Island is the fourth largest island in
Fiji.
It is virtually undeveloped. Virgin coral reefs ring the island and
beaches are fringed with coconut palms. Matana Beach Resort is the
premier resort on Kadavu. It is located on a beautiful beachfront
position 10 minutes by boat from Kadavu airport. It is set in the
tropical gardens which flow onto a sandy beach. The rolling hills
behind
the resort are covered with walking trails which lead high into the
rainforest and magnificent views. The mesmerizing beauty of Kadavu's
emerald isles is not just above sea level. Fiji diving around Kadavu
Island is world renowned with reefs that contain
numerous channels and passages, splashed with a lining of colorful soft
corals. Large schools of fish hover around the entrance of a massive
canyon. As you watch then uniformly disappear into the deep youill be
